AYURVEDIC RECIPES FOR DANDRUFF

1. hibiscus flowers juice - 1 part
    gingelly oil - 1 part

mix the above ,warm up( ON SIM FLAME ) till the juice is completely evaporated ..
allow it to cool , filter through a cloth , store the oil in a vessel.

at night daily ,warm up the oil and apply to head...

2. nelamulaka fruits ( kateli )
water
gingelly oil

grind the fruits with water, add equal part of gingelly oil. warm up till the juice is completely evaporated.filter it and store

at night daily ,warm up some oil and apply to the head.

3. thangedu leaves ( cassia )
    water

boil the leaves in the water till the water is reduced to half volume ..

once in a week ,apply the above juice to the head , take headbath after 30 minutes with sikakay

4 . milk
     kus kus

warm up the milk, allow it to cool and add kuskus,grind well , make paste.

apply to the head , after 1 or 2 hours ,take head bath with sikakay,or soap nuts.

5 . sara pappu
     athi madhuram
    chengalva kost
    black gram
    mustards

take the equal parts of above articles, mix and grind to powder , seive it and filter through a cotton cloth.

add adequate honey to the above mixture

apply the above to the head. take head bath after 1 hour with sikakay

6. amla
    rela tree leaves
    thagirisa seeds
mix the equal parts of above , grind well , add honey and grind again , apply to the head , take head bath after 2 hours with sikakay  .

7 . galnut bark - 1 part
     inner part of mango fruit ( mamidi jeedi vittanam ) - 1 part
     milk - adequate

mix the above , grind well , apply to the head , take head bath after 2 hours with sikakay.

8 .guntagalagara juice - 1 part
    gurivinda seeds - 1 part

mix the above , grind well , apply to the head , take head bath after 2 hours with sikakay.

or  add equal part of gingelly oil to the above mixture , boil it till the juice is completely evaporated.. filter it and store...  apply the oil to the head ,take head bath after 2 hours ,with sikakay.

9 . parijatham seeds
water

soak the seeds in water , grind well ,apply to the head , take bath after 1 hour ,with sikakay

10 . ippa tree bark
       chengalava kost
      black gram
      rock salt

take the above all in equal parts , grind well in to powder , add coconut oil ,grind well, apply to the head , take head bath after 1 hour ,with sikakay

11. vempali roots juice
     butter

mix the above , apply to the head. take head bath after 1 hour with sikakay.

12. kommu pasupu
      manu pasupu
      butter

take equal parts of above ,add butter ,grind well , apply to the head ,after 1 hour ,take head bath with sikakay

13. jaji leaves
      ganneru flowers
     kanuga flowers or leaves
  
mix the equal parts of above , add  gingelly oil equal to that of mixture.

warm up till the mixture is completely evaporated. filter the oil , store in a bottle. apply to the head , daily.

14 . coconut milk

apply the milk to the head , take head bath after 2 hours with sikakay.

15 .tobacco ( wet or dry )
      coconut oil

soak the tobacco in coconut oil for 2 days

crush the leaves in the oil , filter it . apply to the head
